Directions

Only 7 miles from Junction 40 (Penrith) of the M6 the site is located west of the A592 road junction at Gowbarrow Lodge.

From the M6 leave at junction 40 onto A66/Keswick/Ullswater, at the Rheged roundabout take the A592 to Ullswater.

At the T Junction turn right, follow the A592 past the Brackenrigg Hotel junction, past the junction with the phone box, then take next right.

Knotts Hill is 1 mile on the right.
